Places to visit
1. The cottage where Burns was born, now part of the Burns National Heritage Park.
2. The Auld Kirk where the witches danced in Burns's poem, and nearby 'Tam
O'Shanter' Experience visitor centre.
3. The Glasgow Vennel in Irvine, where Burns went to learn about the flax business, is open to the public.
4. The Burns Museum in Wellwood, Irvine. Wellwood is also the home of the Irvine Burns Club.
5. Burns House Museum, Mauchline.
6. The Bachelors Club, Tarbolton, where Burns attended dancing classes, is open to the public.
7. Ellisland Farm in Dumfries is open to the public.
8. Burns House in Dumfries, where the poet died in 1796, is now a museum.
9. The Burns Mausoleum in Dumfries where Burns is buried.
10. The Robert Burns Centre, Dumfries.
11. The Writers Museum, Edinburgh, has a display dedicated to Burns.
